Naked 1 Palette

I got this pallet at Christmas and I was amazed at how utterly beautiful it was. The packaging is adorable and is so soft and professional. I know it's kinda old now because the naked 3 has come out but I still think the colours are perfect.

The shades vary from a light white/cream (virgin) to a shimmery black (creep) and a beautiful blue (gunmetal). The shades are very neutral which I like as I'm not one for going out of my comfort zone! It comes with a brush and mirror which is always useful on the go.

The packaging looks and feels amaaaazing. It's feels like velvet (not sure if it is). I love how sleek and professional it looks. The prices vary depending on where you get it from but from Debenhams it's £37.00. Which in my opinion is a lot but you do get 12 eye shadows.

Thanks for reading! -Lizz

The fault in our stars

I recently just read The fault in our stars and oh. my. god. I can't even begin to express how incredible this book is. It's romantic, tragic, funny and just god damn brilliant. It's sad (i wont tell you why) and touches my heart in no way any other book has. It explores the idea of being alive and in love in a relatable, thrilling way.

I've always loved reading and always wanted to write a book. It would be amazing to create a fantasy world and share it with other people who enjoy it just as much as you do. Maybe one day. I'd love any recommendations if you have any books you love. I'll just leave you with my favorite quote from the book, (and if this doesn't make you want to read it I don't know what will!).

"I'm in love with you, and I'm not in the business of denying myself the simple pleasure of saying true things. I'm in love with you, and I know that love is just a shout into the void, and that oblivion is inevitable, and that we're all doomed and that there will come a day when all our labor has been returned to dust, and I know the sun will swallow the only earth we'll ever have, and I am in love with you"

Maybelline colour sensational review

Hey guys!
So I know I haven't blogged in what seems like forever and I'm not sure if it's because we went back to school and I don't have much time or what but I'm going to try and blog at least once a week.

Anyway, on with the review. I purchased this about a week ago and so far I've been loving it. The formula is really creamy and refreshing. It also smells really nice which is always a bonus.

The thing that attracted me to this product was the packaging. It was so pretty and I just had to look at the colours. t's in the colour electric orange. I chose this because I wanted a red/orangey shade. ( I known it's not the best for autumn/winter but those colours don't really suit me). The only thing I would say is it doesn't really come with much product for the price it is which is kinda disappointing.

It's extremely pigmented but does wear off thorough the day if it's not topped up. This was £7.19 and personally I think it's worth it.
More from me soon! (I promise) x
